I have loved teaching for as long as I can remember. My first jobs were at daycares, summer camps, and tutoring. I graduated top of my class in college and was a public school teacher for 12 years.

Mandates are putting me in the position of potentially choosing between my career and my beliefs. I felt that I had to take a stand for myself and my future.
